GenNext Neuroimaging

Advancing Quieter, Motion-corrected MRI Neuroimaging for “Hard-to-Image” Patients in a Single Solution.

Champaign Imaging wants to make MRI easier for the most important patients. Young Children.

The noisy environment in an MRI scanner can be stressful, especially for children. Loud, abrupt sounds trigger children to flinch reactively during the MRI scanning process. And unfortunately, movement is the enemy of MRI scanning: It severely degrades the essential collection of data from which meaningful MRI images are created.

The Facts

Pediatric MRI neuroimaging has motion-related artifacts in the images that render them unusable: 38% up to age 4 [1]. Re-scans are time-consuming and costly – potentially up to $300,000/MRI machine per year [2]. The challenge is simple to state, but demands a technological leap forward: Make neurological MRIs.

1. QUIETER 2. MOVEMENT TOLERANT And do BOTH in an integrated efficient system.

Champaign Imaging is focused on the specific technologies to target critical neuro MRI scanning success for children. Young children are the toughest patients to image – and patients often in great need of meaningful diagnostic results.
